WELCOME TO THE 2014 CIAC Class "M" Tennis Tournament......CONGRATULATIONS to Foran's Bradley Orban (#1 seed) who defeated Berlin's Dan Rombola (#2 seed) 6-2, 6-2 for the 2014 Singles Championship...Bradley earned his fourth Class "M" singles championship... CONGRATULATIONS to the #1 seeded Guilford doubles team of Luke Lemieux and Matthew Murphy who defeated the #3 seeded Avon doubles team of Mike Arciero and Mike Thramann 6-0, 6-3 for the 2014 doubles championsip...with the doubles championship, Luke and Matthew guaranteed the Class "M" Championship for the Guilford team coached by Andy Raucci...the Avon team coached by Ben Lukowicz earned the runner-up trophy...thanks to the players, coaches, parents and spectators who contributed to the success of the championships...a special THANKS to Mr. Howard, Coach Appleman and the entire Yale staff for all of their hard work to make the Yale facilities such a great place for the CIAC to showcase the tennis talent from all over the State of Connecticut...thanks to THE Jim Solomon for his wise counsel and to Andy Raucci for his commitment to insuring things are done the right way (congrats on the title !!!)...see you next year...
